Audio-Technica and The Stargate have joined up with guest selector Nina Yamada to present Hotaru:Analog:Ambient – an immersive multi-sensory event featuring Audio-Technica’s Hotaru turntable. Launched at Milan Design Week 2025, the Hotaru is the next step in the evolution of analog. The floating turntable's stylus reacts to the messages held deep in the record groove, uniting music and light into a unique experience.

Nina Yamada will curate a collection of Japanese minimal, ambient and kanyõ ongaku records to guide the guests deeper into the listening experience, painting a truly one-of-a-kind deep listening scene. Inspired by the delicate glow of the firefly from which the Hotaru takes its name, this event echoes their fleeting beauty in a unique analog experience that will leave a long-lasting impression.

As the needle gently touches the record, sound and light emerge, colouring the silence.

Guests are invited to stand, sit or lie down in the round, for as much or as little time as they need to deeply connect with the music.
